School Aquaponics Site-Coordinator: Provide instructional and technical support for teachers and students at various 100 Gardens school aquaponics locations. 

Desired skills:

• Classroom and curriculum experience
• Basic understanding of gardening and environmental sustainability. We will train you on aquaponics and controlled growing environments!

We want to connect with community members with a passion for service! Volunteering with 100 Gardens is a great way to give back and also learn about education, food, and the environment through aquaponics! Here are some of our volunteer needs:

• Delivering our harvests to charities and food banks: Every Wednesday morning, typically a 2-3 hour time commitment. 
• Completing the daily tasks at various aquaponics locations during the weekends: Typically a 1-hour time commitment.
• Social media coordinator: Help us tell the community what we are up to! This volunteer opportunity could evolve into a paid position!

We currently provide paid internships for high school and college students at the Aquaponics Lab @ Innovation Barn. To inquire, please contact kelli@100gardens.org.

Beginning in 2023, we will provide 2-month paid internships for students in our aquaponics programs at Garinger High School, West Charlotte High School, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Academy, Myers Park High School, and Independence High School.
